Hit the ground running!

This time last year I was preparing for the Ironman Thun in Switzerland. Constantly puzzling how to combine 15-hour training weeks with family life and a full-time job. Social contacts and house chores where on the low burner. The last thing on my mind was starting my own company.

A year later the world looks completely different. After almost 30 years of "entrepreneurship as an employee", I followed my heart. Solvitarum was born at the beginning of March. I quit my job and had farewell parties. As of June 1 I am an entrepreneur. Once a dream. Now a reality.

Thanks to Marlies van Wijhe and Jaap Swank the agenda is already pretty full. Literally Hit the ground Running!

Sting Additives and Herculan

I continue to work on making Sting Additives BV a success together with the champs of Wydo NBD. It's wonderful to combine this role with an interim role at Herculan. High Performance Floor Coatings for sports floors, athletics tracks and ships. My sports heart has been beating faster for a month now because of these beautiful products. Great to meet new people and help a fast-growing company realize its ambitions.
